Celebrating the Music & Magic of ABBA

ABRA Cadabra Celebrating the Music & Magic of ABBA

Few bands have brought as much joy to the world as ABBA. Their songs have become part of the soundtrack of our lives—timeless music that continues to bring people together across generations, cultures and continents.

ABRA Cadabra celebrates that extraordinary legacy with a joyful, exhilarating live concert experience filled with the music, energy and spirit of one of the world’s most beloved pop groups.

Featuring exceptional vocals, spectacular costumes, outstanding musicianship, energetic dancers and vibrant production, ABRA Cadabra brings ABBA’s legendary songbook to life with beloved hits including Dancing Queen, Mamma Mia, Waterloo, Fernando, SOS, Take a Chance on Me, Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!, The Winner Takes It All and many more.

From the opening note to the final encore, audiences are swept into an unforgettable evening of incredible music, laughter, nostalgia and shared celebration.

But what people often remember most isn’t simply the songs.

It’s the joy in the room.

There is something wonderfully infectious about an ABRA Cadabra performance—the feeling of an entire theatre singing, smiling and celebrating together. It’s an experience shared by lifelong ABBA fans, those discovering the music for the first time, and everyone in between.

Audiences across North America have responded with heartfelt enthusiasm.

“First time for us and we absolutely loved it.”

— Angie McGathey, Fredericton

Amanda Marie of Findlay, Ohio, calls ABRA Cadabra “the best” ABBA tribute she has seen, praising the show’s stunning costumes, choreography and vocals.

And Gilberte Nowlan of Moncton perhaps says it most simply:

“Best show we’ve ever seen!”

Respect for the Music

At the heart of ABRA Cadabra is a genuine love, care and respect for the music and the artists who created it.

“We don’t try to pretend we are ABBA,” says co-founder and lead singer Jeanette O’Keeffe. “We’re fans ourselves, and we have tremendous respect for this music and for the artists we’re celebrating. Our goal is to honour these songs, perform them with heart, and give our audiences something even more special than they were expecting.”

That respect can be felt throughout the show—from the attention to musical detail and harmonies to the costumes, choreography and spirit of each performance.

Connecting Generations

For O’Keeffe, some of the most meaningful moments happen when she looks into the audience and sees several generations singing together.

“You don’t often find music that connects so naturally across generations,” she says. “We’ll see children, parents and grandparents all singing the same songs together. It’s incredibly heartwarming. There’s something very special about ABBA’s music—it has this beautiful ability to transcend age and culture and simply bring people together.”

More than five decades after ABBA first captured the world’s heart, their songs continue to create those moments.

Gratitude

That connection with the audience is something the members of ABRA Cadabra never take for granted.

“We have so much gratitude for our audiences,” says Jonas Falle, who performs as Björn and co-produces the show. “We know people are choosing to spend their valuable time and hard-earned money to come and see us, and that means a great deal to us. It’s because of them that we have the opportunity to live our dreams, travel together, make music and help keep the magic of ABBA alive. We want every person who walks through those doors to leave feeling that their evening with us was truly worthwhile.”

Our Story

For more than 20 years, ABRA Cadabra has been sharing the timeless music of ABBA with audiences around the world.

Along the way, the group has performed for the Royal Family and Prime Minister of Malaysia and appeared on prestigious stages including Vancouver’s Queen Elizabeth Theatre, Singapore’s Esplanade Theatre, Edmonton’s Winspear Centre, Calgary’s Jack Singer Concert Hall, The Washington Center in Olympia, the Auditorio Luis Elizondo in Monterrey, Mexico, and countless performing arts venues throughout North America and beyond.

ABRA Cadabra has shared the stage with legendary acts including Boney M and Kool & the Gang at Universal Studios Florida and has headlined festivals and major events including Vancouver’s PNE, the Harmony Arts Festival, the Parkersburg Festival in West Virginia and the Penang Fair in Malaysia.

Yet after all the miles travelled, stages performed on and songs sung, the heart of the show remains remarkably simple:

A love for this extraordinary music—and the joy of sharing it with people.

ABRA Cadabra is more than a tribute concert. It’s a celebration of songs that have touched millions of lives, an invitation to sing along, and a chance for friends, families and generations to share an evening of pure musical joy & human connection.

Come celebrate the music, share the memories and experience the magic of ABRA Cadabra.

Labels like "tribute" band don't cut it with these people. Powerful, tight bang-on lite-em-up delivery with a real joy in the performance....and that was only the core of 6 total. My wife and I would go see them again anywhere, anytime

Thank you all for the most authentic and "tight" performance that I've been to in a long time. From your harmonies & musicianship, to choreography, and singing & dancing with you, I felt more myself than I have in a long time. So again, thank you for your energy, passion and genuine connection with your Bend audience. You inspire and remind me what life is all about.
